NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire creates a range of housing options needed by New Hampshire individuals and families who are at a financial disadvantage, including developing new affordable rental units, and providing quality homeownership and financial wellness education and counseling services for first-time homebuyers.

 

At its core, NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire helps to improve household financial stability by providing New Hampshire individuals and families quality, sustainable housing.

The Project

The organization relies on community donations and government grants for funding. Together they make up almost half of their operating budget. Like most organizations, they are always looking for new ways to engage their donor base. NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire came to wedü looking for new ways to tell their story and increase donations to the organization.

Those that can connect emotionally with an organization’s mission are three times more likely to become donors, and donate in larger amounts.

The Challenge

In the crowded non-profit space, it is difficult to stand out from all of the other organizations doing wonderful things in the community. For an organization that relies on donations, there was a need to do more to connect with potential donors and community leaders.

The Solution

NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire, known for its data-driven approach, sought to enhance engagement and donations. Recognizing the power of storytelling, we proposed leveraging emotive narratives to highlight their impact, as emotional connections can significantly boost donor involvement and contributions. Capitalizing on wedü’s acquisition of Granite River Studios, we produced two emotionally compelling brand anthem videos to spotlight their homeownership and rental assistance programs. These videos are set to be the centerpiece of their annual event, aiming to bring the organization’s human impact to the forefront through visual storytelling.
