ABOUT WEDÜ
wedü is a strategy-first creative agency built to drive real business outcomes. We don’t separate strategy from creative, and we don’t measure success by output alone. The work has to move something. For nearly 25 years, we’ve been building brands and growing businesses for clients across New England and beyond. We’re a tight team, and the work we do here is real. Our clients range across healthcare, hospitality, media, manufacturing, nonprofit, and more, and our team is built to think deeply and execute well across all of it.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a client-facing role at its core. You’ll own relationships across a portfolio of accounts, keep work moving with clarity and confidence, and serve as the connective tissue between our clients and our internal teams.

You’ll sit within a team of account managers and carry both the relationship and the project management responsibilities for your accounts. That’s not a limitation. It’s where the role gets interesting. You’ll have a genuine voice in how the work gets shaped, not just how it gets delivered. The best AMs here don’t just run the process. They influence it.

You’ll manage a portfolio of 6 to 10 accounts at any given time, spanning very different industries and very different kinds of work. One week might have you steering a healthcare web project through final review while managing a hospitality campaign in flight and kicking off a new engagement with a nonprofit. The variety is real, and so is the pace. The person who thrives here is someone who finds that energizing rather than overwhelming.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

  • Owning the full project lifecycle on your accounts: writing the brief, building the timeline, managing internal teams across creative, strategy, development, and digital, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks from kickoff to delivery
  • Day-to-day client relationships across a portfolio of accounts that spans industries, project types, and levels of complexity
  • Managing budgets and scopes with a close eye, catching issues before they become problems
  • Reviewing deliverables before they go out the door and holding the bar on quality
  • Contributing to business development through proposals, scopes, and client conversations
  • Anticipating what clients need before they ask for it

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven ability to run complex projects independently. You know how to build a plan, hold a team to it, and keep a client informed without over-communicating or under-delivering
  • 3–5 years of marketing agency experience managing client accounts with real ownership
  • Comfort across digital marketing, brand, and web projects. You don’t need to specialize in all of them, but you can’t be unfamiliar with any
  • Strong organizational instincts. You track details without being reminded and flag risks early
  • Clear communicator in all directions: with clients, with internal teams, and in writing
  • Confidence in a client-facing room. You can hold a conversation, manage expectations, and push back when you need to
  • Experience with project management tools & systems

HOW WE WORK
We move fast and hold high standards. The work is complex, the clients are invested, and the bar for quality is real. You’ll have autonomy here, but you’ll also be accountable. We’re a team that takes the work seriously and takes care of each other. If that’s the environment you do your best work in, you’ll fit right in.

WHY THIS ROLE
This is a role with real ownership from day one. You’ll work alongside a team that spans creative, strategy, development, and digital, and you’ll have a voice in how the work gets made, not just how it gets delivered. For the right person, there’s room to grow here, whether that means building deep expertise across a strong book of accounts or taking on a more senior role over time. We’re not prescriptive about which path that is. We care more about finding someone who’s genuinely good at this work and wants to do it well.

HOW TO APPLY
Send your resume along with a short note covering three things: the type of accounts you’ve managed, how you typically keep projects on track across multiple workstreams, and what you’re looking for in your next role.

This note is part of your application. How you write it tells us as much as what you say.

Applications without the note won’t be reviewed.
