Our Experiential, Digital and Public Relations teams worked recently on a great cause marketing event for our client, National Grid.
National Grid was the official Illuminations of Life sponsor of the
Gloria Gemma “Flames of Hope: A Celebration of Life” event which is one of the largest annual awareness events in the Northeast.
wedü partnered with National Grid to build a memorable and engaging event activation by creating a
Facebook-connected photo booth where attendees were able write their message of hope & survival on a white board, snap a photo and
upload it to Facebook seamlessly.
Our brand ambassadors were on scene to assist visitors to the booth and spread the message that National Grid is committed to the fight against this dreadful disease that impacts so many of us.
National Grid’s commitment to breast cancer awareness doesn’t end with this weekend’s event. From now until December 31, 2012, for every Greenlite pink-based compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL) sold at
participating retailers throughout Rhode Island 15 cents will be donated to the Gloria Gemma Foundation.
